Finding Housing Shouldn't Be Complicated

A Simple Path Toward Stable Housing

Finding the right place to live can feel overwhelming. At Allied Independent Living, we aim to make the inquiry and placement process as clear and straightforward as possible.

Whether you're looking for housing for yourself, helping a family member, or referring a client, our process begins with understanding the individual's housing needs and determining whether we have an appropriate option available.

Tell Us What You're Looking For

Start by completing our housing inquiry or referral form. We'll ask for basic information about the prospective resident, including preferred housing type, anticipated move-in date, income or funding source, and any accommodations that may be important when considering placement. Individuals may submit an inquiry for themselves, or inquiries may be submitted by an authorized family member, case manager, social worker, or referral organization.

Helping Us Determine the Right Fit

After receiving the inquiry, our team reviews the information provided to determine whether Allied Independent Living may be an appropriate housing option. The screening process may include reviewing housing needs and preferences, desired move-in date, preferred room arrangement, income or available funding, identification and required documentation, ability to live within an independent or shared residential environment, and any reasonable housing accommodations requested. Current housing availability is also considered.

Additional information or documentation may be requested before a placement decision can be made. Submitting an inquiry or application does not guarantee acceptance or housing placement.

Matching Needs With Availability

Once the initial screening is completed, we'll review available housing options that may fit the prospective resident's needs. Depending on availability, options may include private rooms, shared housing, furnished housing, transitional living, and independent living. We'll discuss the available room or housing arrangement, applicable rates, what's included, household expectations, and other important details before the resident makes a decision. If an appropriate placement is not currently available, the prospective resident may be informed about other available options or future availability when applicable.

Welcome Home

Once an appropriate housing option has been identified and approved, the final step is completing the required admission and move-in documentation. Before move-in, residents will receive information regarding their housing arrangement, payment requirements, household expectations, and move-in procedures. Once everything is completed, it's time to settle in and begin the next chapter. Welcome to Allied Independent Living.
